About
I am a pet, wildlife and nature photographer who also likes to dabble in other photography styles as well, the main one being travel. I started my photography journey at a young age, taking photos of my pets, nature and wildlife at my family’s cabin and places I’ve travelled to. Also, at a young age, I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I just didn’t know at the time that this was the artistic path I would end up taking. Back then, I thought about being a painter or an illustrator and took a few art classes. This led to my being selected in grade 4 by my school to take some at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
It wasn’t until grade 12 that I really thought about pursuing photography. This led me to take Professional Photography at RRC Polytech after high school. While in the program, I learned many different styles, which helped me determine the ones I loved. Also, I prefer not to work in a studio.
